The Forming of White Nave
 |
| Mervielles du Monde Exhibition, Musee Des Beaux Arts, Dunkerque, France 2005 (White Window) |
White Nave is an evolution of a former not-for-profit company, White Window. White Window was founded by artists Jane Lee, Peter Fillingham and Jim Hicks with Rachael Daniels working alongside the founders for five years as the organisation's Project Manager.
Although the founders and project manager only worked part-time for White Window, the company never-the-less produced a plethora of exhibitions and cultural interventions in both Kent and Nord-Pas de Calais between 2002 and 2006 when the founders moved to locations outside of Kent.
The founders of White Window were keen for the ethos and good practice of their company to live on in Kent and therefore passed ownership to Rachael to form part of the creative history of the new company - White Nave.
Between them White Nave Directors Rachael and Sue Daniels have a wide range of experience in both the contemporary art world and in business and project management.
With their commitment to the new company, they intend to encompass the essence of White Window in the development of White Nave - widening its scope to provide a professional support mechanism for practicing artists in Kent and to bring together artists, business and the community.
