WHITE NAVE ARE NO LONGER BASED AT THE CHARLTON ART CENTRE
cacbanner.jpg

"It is with much regret that we advise we can no longer sustain our full time presence at the Charlton Art Centre to provide the partnership management service role.  The costs we have incurred have proved to be a considerable strain on our finances.

We have continuously sought funding to cover White Nave's operations and to enable us to remain in residence at the Art Centre, however our attempts have been unsuccessful to date due to the temporary life scale of the venue, funders do not perceive our position as sustainable and are reluctant to support us with such risks in place.

A further consideration that has prompted our actions at this particular time is the escalating health and safety risk caused by the leaking roof.  Targetfollow Group plan to renew the roof over the coming months but in the meantime we are unable to produce a programme of exhibitions.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Targetfollow Group for providing this exciting space in Dover - a facility that, as audiences over the last five months have proved, has provided a much-needed Arts venue in the town and that we hope will carry on for several years".
