Services to the Community - the Role of the Arts in Regeneration

Dover is about to embark on an exciting journey, millions of pounds will be spent in the regeneration of the town - however this process will cause much disruption and confusion, communication is essential.

White Nave aims to become an information point to help communication between local authorities, strategic organisations, businesses and local people during the huge regeneration project that is planned for the town.  Dover belongs to its residents - we hope to provide a better sense of ownership.

We intend to deliver projects in and around Dover that will be specifically focused on local communities, events and productions that everyone can get involved in.  We hope to work with the schools and colleges in the Dover district to provide links with arts communities and develop creative talent.  We will also run creative workshops that will be open to all.

In the near future we aim to open an Arts Centre in Dover that will give us more flexibility to provide workshops and training for all ages and at all levels.
