Sponsorship Opportunities
Sponsorship generates goodwill. Both quantitative awareness studies and qualitative research support what common sense would suggest: that when goodwill is generated it is generated amongst the audience that are interested in the event or the area sponsored. This is because the ‘interested' are the people who are aware of the sponsorship and are the ones who appreciate the support given to the activity they enjoy.

So what kind of people are interested in the Arts?
Well, one of the key features of the arts is that they encompass a wide range of activities - from community arts to jazz to theatre to film and digital media - and therefore appeal to a very diverse audience, crossing gender, race and socio-demographic divides.
White Nave can provide many sponsorship opportunities to local businesses, raising their public relations profile and promoting their goodwill both around the event and within an annual publication of involvement in sponsorship. Here are some examples:
- Sponsoring a local community project - this could a one day event, the production of a documentary video or a short term project
- Adopt a Studio/Project Space Scheme - supporting the running costs of a studio or project space for a specified duration (ie 3, 6 or 9 months, etc)
- Joint or match funding of an event/project with a charitable funding organisation or trust - many of the funders that support the arts require that part of a project's funding comes from another source
- Sponsoring an artist in residence - either providing workspace and/or accommodation to support an artist on a timed project, allowing them to develop their practice. The artist could be commissioned to produce a piece of work for the company during the residency
- Sponsoring a cultural exchange project - contributing to the costs of a project involving an arts organisation/community from our neighbouring EU area Nord-Pas de Calais
